I'm absolutely over the moon to present Braided Hearts, a crochet pattern that takes the charm of Celtic tradition and gives it a modern-day makeover! Whether you throw it on a table as a runner, wrap it around yourself for warmth, or just let it hang out as a snazzy decorative piece, this creation adds a classy twist to any corner of your home. With its intricate loops and interwoven stitches, it's like a Celtic knot that's been to charm school—with a dash of heartfelt pizzazz.

Have you ever been to any of the Celtic nations? Back in 2009, I stumbled onto the emerald shores of Ireland, and let me tell you, a chunk of my heart has been vacationing there ever since. There was something in the air—probably leprechaun magic or ancient fairy dust—whispering sweet nothings in the wind and tap-dancing across those rolling green hills.

I smooched the Blarney Stone, giggled and jigged through Dublin's streets on St. Patrick’s Day, and meandered through the tranquil countryside, where time seemed to take a coffee break just so I could soak it all in. Ireland’s beauty isn’t just in its landscapes—it’s in its soul, in the warmth of its people, and in that feeling you’ve stepped into a story older than your great-grandma’s tales.
Out of all the places I’ve ever visited, if anywhere could truly call me home, it would be Ireland. And oh, how I yearn to return—to saunter down its ancient paths, to catch a tune drifting from a snug pub, to inhale that wild, untamed beauty once more.
One day, I’ll go back. I’m sure of it. Because some places don’t just get a postcard from you—you visit them, and they cling to you like a shamrock on a rainy day. But until then....check out two more Celtic inspired patterns of mine!
Brighid is like two patterns in one! You get the center out version as well as bottom up.
